Hiring govcon professionals, often security cleared, was incredibly difficult.
Generic applicant tracking systems were designed for corporate HR departments, not for government contractors who needed to track contracts, manage security clearances, collaborate with program managers, and move candidates quickly through competitive hiring processes.
The team found themselves juggling spreadsheets, emails, and outdated systems while trying to scale a recruiting operation that needed to move faster every year.
So they did what many innovators do when the market doesn’t offer the right solution.
They built their own.
