What is a Galago?

Like the Galago, AgileATS is built for agility.

Galagos combine strength, speed, adaptability, and awareness to move efficiently through complex environments. In the same way, AgileATS empowers government contractors with the visibility, automation, and responsiveness needed to navigate recruiting challenges, adapt to changing contract demands, and move top talent through the hiring process faster.

Galagos are agile for a combination of anatomical, muscular, and sensory reasons

Powerful Hind Limbs

They can leap several times their own body length, both horizontally and vertically, to move between branches or escape predators.

Flexible Joints

Their ankle and wrist joints can rotate more than those of most mammals, allowing them to change direction mid-leap.

Lightweight Body Structure

They have a small, light body mass, which reduces inertia and makes it easier to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly while maintaining balance.

Grip Adaptations

Sharp claws and grasping hands/feet with padded tips let them cling to surfaces securely, even during rapid or acrobatic movements.

Exceptional Balance

A long tail acts as a counterbalance during leaps and while landing, allowing them to adjust their center of gravity mid-air.

Advanced Sensory Systems

Large forward-facing eyes give them strong depth perception, crucial for judging distances between branches at night. Their excellent hearing also helps detect small prey or predators, making their movements not just quick but precise.
